Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says Strict action will be taken against drug black marketeers

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that public representatives should be consulted constantly for the control of Corona infection. Commissioners should take prompt action on the information received from them. All efforts should be made to reduce the positivity rate by ensuring all the arrangements in the state. Information about the number of beds in each hospital should be given through the Hindi app as well as through various media of communication. Social organizations should be united and inspired to assist people. Corona infected people should benefit from Covid Care Centers. Doctors should maintain contact with patients living in home isolation and keep giving them necessary guidance. There should be a fair system of distribution of medicines and injections. Strict action should be taken against those who engage in black marketing of medicines. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing Corona infection in a discussion with Commissioners and officers in-charge officers of the state in a video conference today.

New oxygen plants will be set up

It was informed in the review that the supply of oxygen in the state will be 700 metric tonnes by the end of this month. Today, the state has received 390 metric tonnes of oxygen. The supply of oxygen in the state is steadily increasing. The number of tankers has also increased to 46 now. Oxygen plants will be set up in 37 districts of the state in the next one to three months. This will end problems in the future. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that PIU and work agency should select the sites for these plants, and work should be completed as early as possible.

There will be no shortage of injections, supply is increasing

It was informed in the meeting that 17 thousand injections have been sent to the divisions in the state today. Their distribution is being ensured from the divisions to districts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has also held talks with Hetero Healthcare Limited regarding injection supply. The company has been asked to supply one lakh injections. Earlier, Mylan Lab has also supplied injections. Results are coming in due to continuous monitoring and the supply of oxygen to Madhya Pradesh has been increasing.

Reports should be received early in the interest of patients

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that arrangements should be made to ensure that the test report is available within 24 hours. The person concerned should be advised to remain in isolation till his test report arrives. There should be no dearth of efforts to break the chain of infection. Poor families who are in home isolation, should be taken to Covid Care Center on priority basis in case their condition deteriorates. Tea, breakfast, food should be provided in these centers. Full care should be taken of the patients. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that availability of beds should be displayed so that patients do not have to wander from one hospital to another. Citizens should get information on the prescribed numbers. Serious patients should receive full support of the administrative officer or hospital in all the districts in providing treatment. The initiative taken by Radhaswami Satsang Nyas in Indore is exemplary. This initiative should be taken in other divisions as well. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in any case, the chain of infection has to be broken. Efforts must be made to make this work a campaign.

States extending support

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he has held discussions with the Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan for necessary arrangement of oxygen and medicines in Madhya Pradesh. All the states are extending support. Madhya Pradesh has also got support from Orissa and Chhattisgarh in oxygen supply. There is a feeling of mutual cooperation and coordination among all the states in times of crisis.

Discussion with divisions

During a discussion with commissioners, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, directed that fair distribution of oxygen should be ensured in all the divisions as per the number of patients. Commissioner Bhopal informed that the work of testing and treatment is going on smoothly in the division. As many as 8566 tests were conducted in Bhopal yesterday. The Jabalpur Commissioner is instructed to make space available for the RTPCR test at the Medical College Jabalpur. Commissioner Rewa is also instructed to increase test capacity. Commissioner Sagar is instructed to increase the facilities of testing and treatment in all the districts of the division. Sagar currently has a capacity of 500 beds. Currently 398 beds are in use. Commissioner Indore said that 7400 beds are available in Indore, currently only 6422 beds are being used.

People’s support is must

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the general public should implement curfew system on their own. With the support of the people, we will soon overcome this crisis. The Chief Minister said that he will also discuss with the ministers on Monday and give instructions to the officials regarding their suggestions.

‘Oxygen Express’ center’s initiative commendable

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Central Government has taken the initiative to supply oxygen as per their requirement to the states through Oxygen Express. It is certainly commendable. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan suggested sending tankers through rail for supply of oxygen last week.

There should be no loss of oxygen

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that at a time when there is a great need of oxygen, an oxygen tanker overturned near Bhopal, but there was no loss of oxygen. Local administration, transport department acted promptly. The Chief Minister said that similarly it is necessary for everyone to be vigilant. Watchfulness is appreciated for saving things needed by patients. Similarly, control on unnecessary use of oxygen is also necessary.

Samples of Agar-Malwa and Shajapur districts will go to Ujjain

It was informed in the meeting that samples from Ujjain, including Agar-Malwa and Shajapur, will also be sent to the RD Gardi Hospital in Ujjain. Ujjain currently has a capacity of 2 thousand tests per day. Samples taken at Jhabua and Alirajpur are being sent to Ahmedabad for the purpose of getting test reports soon. Due to this, reports have started arriving within a day.

Buildings will be marked for one thousand bed capacity centers in six divisions

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains informed that commissioners in six divisions Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa have been asked to identify buildings for the Covid Care Centres. It has been asked to make these preparations keeping in mind the possibility of rise in numbers of patients in future. About one thousand beds will be available in these buildings. They can also be used as oxygen beds when needed for isolation patients. Services of nursing staff and 450 contracted physicians will be availed in these centres.

Patients from other states are benefiting

In the regular review of Covid today, this fact also came to light that due to better arrangements for testing, treatment in M.P., patients from other states are also coming. Jhansi patients come to Gwalior and get them tested. During the review of Gwalior division, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed the Gwalior administration to take care of those living in isolation. Necessary facilities should be provided to the people living in small houses. Treatment is also being provided in 57 private hospitals in Gwalior. Good hospitals are being acquired and services are being taken. In a detailed review of Gwalior, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the public curfew should be spontaneous; all parties should also cooperate in it.

Now mobile fever clinics to be operated

In the presentation of Health Department, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman said that there are 12 thousand 248 patients in the state. The number of recovered patients is 6497. The active cases are 4,706. Madhya Pradesh has 4.4 percent patients in the country. The state’s positivity rate is twenty, but patients are coming home after recovering. Cases are still stable in Bhopal, Indore. But all the arrangements are being ensured to face the challenge of controlling. 720 fever clinics are operating in the state. Now preparations have also been made for the operation of mobile fever clinics. Vehicles will reach the citizens’ homes to take samples. After the rapid test, the same person will also be provided with the kit if the result is positive. Along with this, guidance will also be given regarding Home Isolation. The capacity of rapid test in Jabalpur and Rewa divisions will be increased. Similarly, efforts are being made to improve the arrangements in Vindhya region. Currently, there is an attempt to increase the 1500 per day test capacity to 2000 in Rewa. The lab facilities will be improved in the division. With this, we will also try to get more tests in Singrauli.

Other instructions of the Chief Minister

For the health of the patients living in home isolation, the doctor should contact them and give guidance.

People at the ward and locality level should enforce Corona curfew on their own. This system should be kept effective till next 30th April.

Continuous efforts should be made to increase bed capacity.

Government and society should work together to break the chain of infection.

Keep the distribution system of medicines and oxygen supply smooth.

There will be no shortage of financial resources, the proposals of the required amount from the districts should be received on time.

Government employees should not come to work beyond the prescribed limit.
