MCL kid to watch Chandrayan landing on Moon with PM Modi

Sambalpur: Class 8 student of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited’s (MCL) DAV Public School Master Chinmaya Choudhary has been selected to witness the landing Chandrayan-2 on moon September 7 along with honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chinmaya, son of Ms Diptirani Patel & Mr Pankaja Kumar Choudhury, Chemist, MCL’s Lakhanpur Area in Jharsuguda district of Odisha, studies in the DAV Public School, Bandhabahal.
Being among top scorer in the Space Quiz 2019 that was held on www.MyGov.in, Chinmaya has been invited to ISRO facility at Bengaluru to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon.
Mr B N Shukla, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd has congratulated Master Chinmaya, his teachers and parents on this special achievement.
This great initiative of government, the CMD said, “will certainly to promote scientific temperament students motivate them in tender age to take up innovative and scientific studies”.
“I also congratulate teachers and parents of Chinmaya for providing all needed support to young talent who has brought laurels to the company,” Mr Shukla added.
MCL DAV Public Schools, which are primarily run for children of coal miners, are known for best educational performance with students bringing laurels in academics as well as other extracurricular activities.
Of 663 students appeared in class 10th (CBSE) exams, 168 had scored 90% and above marks with 99% marks scored by a student DAV Public School, Ib Valley, during last academic session 2018-19.
