Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur : The state housing and urban development minster Pratap Jena inaugurated and laid foundation stones of slew of projects in the eve of local self-governance day. Minister Jena addressing a public meeting in Nimain Bhawan here said efforts would be made rejuvenating Jagatsinghpur municipality in coming days, developmental works would not be affected necessitating money, his department will provide needed assistance as and when required, minister Jena assured.
Later he was distributed PMAY work orders to beneficiaries living under Jagatsinghpur municipal area. Earlier minister was inaugurated a community center and Mission Shakti building, a concrete road in Badabaga, community toilets and a Kalyanamandap in the eve of local self governance day. Among others MP Dr Rajashree Mallick, MLAs Bishnu Das, Prasanta Muduli, collector S K Mohapatra and municipality executive officer Baladev Behera accompanied minister during his one day visit.
