Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India is launching flights from Mysuru to Bengaluru onwards to Vijayawada via Bengaluru effective 7th June, 2019. Flight Mysuru to Bengaluru will be operated under Regional Connectivity Scheme-UDAN. This route has been awarded to Alliance Air to bolster regional connectivity under “Connecting India” mission of Government of India. The inaugural is planned at Mandakalli Airport,Mysuru.
Mysuru is known as the cultural capital of Karnataka and receives a large number of tourists from around the world especially during the Dasara festivities.Last Year Mysuru saw record tourist turnout of approximately 1.53 lakh people during Dasara.The title Mysuru is used in many of it’s specialities such as sweet delicacy Mysore Pak, Mysore Masala Dosa, Mysore Painting,Mysore Sandal Soap,Mysore Ink, Mysore Peta,Mysore silk and tourism is the key industry here. This flight would offer seamless connectivity and help garnering the immense tourism potential Mysuru has to offer.Tourist spots such as Coorg,Ooty and Bandhipur National Park are in close proximity to Mysuru and this flight will reduce the total travel time to these destinations as well.
All flights will operate with a 70 seater ATR-72.
Flight 9I 539 departs from Vijayawada at 0820Hrs, arrives into Bengaluru at 1000Hrs further departing from Bengaluru at 1030Hrs arriving into Mysuru at 1125Hrs.
Flight 9I 540 departs from Mysuru at 1200Hrs arriving in Bengaluru at 1300Hrs further departing from Bengaluru at 1325Hrs arriving in Vijayawada at 1455Hrs.

The flights between Bangalore & Mysuru will operate on all days except Tuesday and Thursday.
