New Delhi: Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India is all set to add Gulbarga to its list of destinations. Direct flight operations connecting Gulbarga with Bengaluru onwards to Mysuru begin from 27th December 2019.This is an RCS route under the UDAN scheme with daily frequency. The airline will deploy its 70 seater luxurious aircraft on this sector.
Flight 9I 897 will depart from Mysuru at 0830hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 0910hrs. Flight 9I 509 will depart Bengaluru at 0950hrs and arrive in Gulbarga at 1125hrs. Flight 9I 510 will depart from Gulbarga at 1150hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 1330hrs. Flight 9I 898 will depart Bengaluru at 1400hrs and arrive in Mysuru at 1450hrs.
On Tuesday Flight 9I 897 will depart from Mysuru at 1025hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 1105hrs. Flight 9I 509 will depart Bengaluru at 1140hrs and arrive in Gulbarga at 1320hrs. Flight 9I 510 will depart from Gulbarga at 1345hrs and arrive in Bengaluru at 1525hrs. Flight 9I 898 will depart Bengaluru at 1545hrs and arrive in Mysuru at 1640hrs.
Gulbarga is known as a sufi city famous for religious places like Khwaja Banda Nawaz Dargah, Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, Ladle Mashak and Buddha Vihar. It also has a fort built during Bahmani rule. The city has many domes like Hafth Gumbad (seven domes together) and Shor Gumbad.
Alliance Air currently connects 59 destinations, with the addition of Gulbarga there will be 60 stations in Alliance air’s ambit.
