Bhubaneswar: By adding another feather to its cap, the Aditya Birla Group Company, Aditya Aluminium has bagged the 1st Prize for excellence in Health, Safety and Environment area at its plant site in Lapanga in the Sambalpur Distt. in Odisha. The award ceremony was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry for the Manufacturing Large Scale Industries(Above 3000 employees) which was held at ITC Sonar Bangla, Kolkata very recently. Mr Bibhu Mishra, the President and COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Aditya Aluminium received the award from Mr. Arnab Roy, IAS Principal Secretary (Dept. of Fire & Emergency Services & Environment).Speaking on the occasion Mr Bibhu Mishra said that this has been possible due to the relentless contributionof each employee of the company in their respective fields by adhering to the safety and other norms. Mr Mishra thanked every employee of the company for this. This award is an endorsement of the hard work and Safety, Health & Environment culture inculcated in each employee of Aditya Aluminium, he added.
This coveted award has been conferred upon Aditya Aluminium after a through scrutiny of works of the different corporates like TATA Steel, Nalco, ITC and other large scale industries.
