Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh has come down in terms of Corona infection among 28 states in the country. As many as 145 new cases of Corona have been reported in the state and positivity rate has come down to 0.2%. At the same time, the recovery rate has increased to 98.5%.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that now the state is being unlocked and economic activities have started, therefore it is mandatory for every person to cent percent follow Covid appropriate behaviour and Corona guidelines. Even the slightest carelessness can cost a lot. Everyone must wear masks, maintain distance from each other and avoid forming crowd anywhere. Everyone must make sure to get vaccinated for protection from Covid.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in Mantralaya today. Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman etc. were present in the meeting.
2984 active cases
The number of active cases of Corona in the state has come down to 2984. In the last 24 hours, 404 patients have recovered. The weekly positivity rate of the state has come down to 0.3 percent. The weekly positivity rate has come down to less than one percent in 51 districts of the state. Only Bhopal district has a weekly positivity rate of 1.1 percent.
Only 6 districts with more than 5 new cases
Now more than 5 new cases of Corona have come in only 6 districts of the state. There have been 42 new cases of Corona in Bhopal, 34 in Indore, 9 in Jabalpur, 6 in Vidisha, 5 in Rajgarh and 5 in Ujjain.
Zero new cases in 22 districts
No new cases of Corona have been reported in 22 districts of the state which includes Agar-Malwa, Alirajpur, Anuppur, Bhind, Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Dewas, Dindori, Guna, Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Panna, Sagar, Satna, Shajapur, Sheopur, Sidhi, Singrauli, Tikamgarh and Umaria.
Bhind and Burhanpur completely Corona free
Bhind and Burhanpur districts of the state have become totally Corona free. There is neither any new case of Corona nor any active case here.
1412 patients treated in hospitals
At present 1412 Corona patients are being treated in various hospitals of the state. Of these, 660 are in ICUs, 560 are on oxygen beds and 192 on normal beds. There are 1572 patients in home isolation.
