New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan delivered inaugural address at the India-Africa Knowledge Exchange Mission at New Delhi. Minister Pradhan welcomed Delegations from Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Ethiopia & Tanzania led by Ministers/In-Charges of Skills Development to India.

India shares long cultural & trade relationships with all participating countries from Africa based on common cultural & democratic values. Both India and Africa enjoy a huge demographic advantage with over two-thirds of our populations below 35 years of age. As Hon’ble PM keeps reiterating – this century belongs to India and Africa and the future is ours to shape and build, said Minister Pradhan.

Minister Pradhan said In Oct, 2015, 40 African leaders and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, met in New Delhi for the Third India-Africa Forum Summit. We are working towards further enhancing our co-operation in the fields of energy, skill development with all the African Countries. After a successful dialogue at the India- Africa Summit – 2015, this platform is an ideal forum to carry forward the planned work.
