Bhubaneswar: The Union Government on Wednesday approved the State Government’s annual Rs 1,062-crore mid-day meal (MDM) budget estimate.
The necessary notification would be issued shortly.A meeting in this regard was held between State Department of School and Mass Education and the Union Education Department. The Union Education Secretary has praised State Government’s initiatives and MDM awareness Mela, Multi Tap Multi Cap hand wash scheme, kitchen garden, SHG involvement and MDM quality.
