Uma Bharti Takes over as New Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation

The Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Shri Nitin Gadkari and the Ministers of State for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and Dr. Satya Pal Singh assumed the charge of their portfolios, in the presence of the Union Minister for Drinking Water & Sanitation, Sushri Uma Bharti, in New Delhi on September 04, 2017.

New Delhi: Sushri Uma Bharti today took over as new Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation. Earlier, on her arrival at the Ministry, the Minister was received by Shri Parameswaran Iyer, Secretary and other senior officials of the Ministry.
