Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Wednesday reopened 84 branches in and around Bhubaneswar even though restoration of electricity connection was yet to be completed.
As many as 23 ATMs are functioning in the capital city for convenience of the customers; and efforts are on to reopen more branches and ATMs as soon as possible.
At Puri, the SBI was able to reopen four branches, i.e., Station Bazaar, Temple Road, Badasanksha and Nabakalebar, to provide a relief to the customers.
Besides, SBI Bhubaneswar Circle CGM Praveena Kala in the presence of CGM DS Mishra flagged off five truckloads of drinking water and relief materials collected by the branches of Zone-2 of Bhubaneswar Zonal Office for distribution at Puri.
