The new BJP government in Bhubaneswar plans to reopen schools that were closed during the previous BJD regime due to alleged false reports and ignoring local demands. School & Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond stated, “We have plans to reopen the schools where students have to travel long distances to attend school. The Department Secretary has been tasked with preparing a report, and based on this, we will initiate the reopening process.”
