New Delhi: Samsung, India’s number 1 smartphone maker and ‘Most Trusted’ brand, is expected to launch four new smartphones this month. The new smartphones will come with Samsung’s flagship innovation Super AMOLED Infinity Display and will shake up the smartphone market in the country, sources in the industry said.
“Samsung is going to raise the bar in the mid-segment with these four smartphones. They are likely to create a major shake-up in the affordable segment market. These smartphones come with flagship Infinity Display feature at great prices. They are targeted for the millennials and young consumers who want exciting smartphones at amazing price points,” an industry insider said.
The biggest feature of these smartphones will be Infinity Display, which has so far been associated with Samsung’s flagship smartphones. Samsung first introduced the Infinity Display in Galaxy S8 in 2017.
According to sources, two of the four new smartphones being launched will be sold under Galaxy J series which is getting a complete makeover with Super AMOLED Infinity Display. Galaxy J is India’s most popular smartphone series – one in every three smartphones sold in the country is a Galaxy J.
Like always, Samsung’s new J series smartphones will come with industry-leading ‘Make for India’ innovations. Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ innovations such as S bike mode, Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and Turbo Speed Technology have been extremely popular in the country.
All the smartphones will be made at Samsung’s Noida factory.
