Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that policy covering water, forest, land and cattle will be formed soon to make Atmanirbhar Gramin Madhya Pradesh. He assured the flood hit farmers and citizens that their loss will be compensated and an amount of about Rs. 2 lakh will be given under various heads to construct their houses like earlier, damaged by the heavy rains and flooding. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the gathering after performing bhumi-pujan and inaugurating various developement works costing Rs. 292.28 crore of Sanchi Assembly Constituency at Dashhera Ground of the Raisen District Headquarters. Former Chief Minister Sushri Uma Bharti accompanied the Chief Minsiter to Raisen.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the previous governemnt has deceived the farmers. The previous government neither gave them relief in natural disaster, nor helped them in getting the amount of Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance. He assured the farmers that he will deposit Rs. 4688 crore simultaneously in the accounts of 20 lakh farmers at 12.00 noon on September 18. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan further mentioned that the insurance premium was not even deposited by the previous government. We gave Rs. 3 thousand earlier after depositing two premiums and now Rs. 4688 crore will be given. He said that his government is the government of poor and following the concept of ‘Gharib Ki Thali, Kabhi Na Rahe Khali’, the government will give ration at the rate of Re. One per k.g. to 76 thousand of Raisen district and total 37 lakh poor of the state on September 16.
Engineering College to be started in Raisen
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Raisen too will not lag behind any district. Not only Engineering College and veterinary diploma institution will be started in Raisen but stadium will also be constructed in Ghairatganj. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan mentioned that the schemes like Sambal, Women Empowerment and students’ welfare, which were shut by the previous government, have been restarted by us. He mentioned that on one hand, poor will get support in times of crisis by Sambal Yojana, on the other meritorious students will get laptops like earlier. CM Shri Chouhan stated that this government listen to all and believes in where there is a will there is a way in terms of development. On this occasion, CM Shri Chouhan distributed benefits over Rs. 70 lakh to 23 beneficiaries under the various schemes.
Former Chief Minister Sushri Uma Bharti said in the programme that the penance with which she came to power in the state, the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while running the government with the same penance is busy in the welfare of the people of the state. She mentioned that his hard work is incomparable. She further said that whether it is the state government or central government, they do not discriminate in development works. Our resolution is ‘Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas’. She urged general public to give their full support to the government.
Minister for Public Health Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary in his address said that the former Chief Minister Sushri Uma Bharti and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan are working as public servants for the welfare of people of the state. He called upon people to give their full support to the government. Dr. Chowdhary further mentioned that the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has approved all the works of this area and has said that he will not let paucity of funds come in the way of development of this area. Former Minister Dr. Gourishankar Shejwar as well as former Minister and MLA Silwani Shri Rampal Singh also addressed the programme.
