Bhubaneswar: Suresh Chandra Hota was appointed as the first Odia Director of the Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Monday by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Before his posting here, Hota was working as the Director of the Lucknow Airport. He said he is thankful to the AAI for giving an opportunity to work in his motherland. The Bhubaneswar airport has a bright future.
His priorities would be to improve passenger services and amenities.
Notably, the airport here has come a long way since its inception. The first international flight from here to Kuala Lumpur by Air Asia would start operating from April 26.
