Bhubaneswart: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLWCA) has cleared nine more investment proposals of Rs1,777.43 crore.
The SLWCA meeting under chairmanship of Chief Secretary AP Padhi on Saturday approved the proposals in food processing, plastics, renewable energy and steel sectors and referred the NTPC’s Rs7698.46-crore expansion proposal for its Talcher Thermal Power Station to the High Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) headed by the Chief Minister.
The approved projects have a potential of creating 3,200 additional jobs in the State. The major proposals which got SLWCA’s nod included Rs737-crore investment by the Ultratech Cement Limited, Rs 241-crore investment by the Sakura Premier Solar Private Limited.
Similarly, the Coastal Corporation Ltd’s proposal for establishing a food processing unit at Rs51 crore, the Balasore Alloys Ltd’s steel firm proposal of Rs232.40 crore, the Indo Nissin Foods Private Ltd’s food processing unit of Rs50.44 crore, the Oricon Enterprises Ltd’s plastics for food processing of Rs120 crore, the Jyoti Solar Solutions Private Ltd’s renewable energy proposal of Rs57.17 crore, the Topaz Solar Pvt Ltd’s renewable energy proposal of Rs220 crore) and the Jay Bharat Species Pvt Ltd’s food processing proposa of Rs61.42 crore were cleared.
