Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief at the tragic death of 7 persons of Ganjam Dist in a road accident in Raipur.
CM has conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families & announced exgratia of Rs 2 lakh each from CMRF to the next of the kin of the deceased. CM directs Minister Sushant Singh to visit Raipur to take stock of the situation.
It should be noted that accident in Chhattisgarh ‘s Cherikhedi on Saturday morning when a bus ferrying workers of cotton mill from Ganjam, Odisha to Surat, Gujarat, collided with a truck. Seven out of 59 passengers died on the spot, several injured.
