Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik asks all departments to complete process of promotion of employees & officers by December 31 every year .
According to a press note by the CM’s Office, Patnaik has directed that all approvals pending with the Government in connection to promotion of staff and officials should be completed by the year-end and people eligible for promotions should get their due by January 1, 2020.
All departmental heads and Collectors have been issued a directive in this regard, the press note further read.
Expression anguish over the inordinate delay in clearing promotions of low and mid-level employees, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure speedy completion of formalities related to promotions of Government employees in a transparent manner.
