Bhubaneswar : Chief Secretary Shri Suresh Chandra Mohapatra reviews the development works of Bhubaneswar ahead of the #HWC2023.
He visited & reviewed the ongoing works of the Inter-State Bus Terminal Baramunda, BMC ICOMC Building & functioning of Multi-Level Car Parking Saheed Nagar.
Besides, VC BDA, BMC Commissioner accompanied him, he interacted with the respective officials & instructed to complete the projects in the stipulated time. The #ISBT will have facilities for the convenience of passengers, office spaces, parking, restaurant, commercial spaces etc
While visiting the Multi-Level Car Parking at Saheed Nagar he advised the officials of BMC & BSCL for enforcement of no parking zones & to make safe passage for the commuters from the building to the nearby market areas. The #MLCP will accommodate min. 250 equivalent car spaces.
The Chief Secretary also visited the new 12-storeyed BMC ICOMC building at Janpath and also took stock of the city’s ongoing landscaping works & the street art under #CityBeautification for #HWC2023.
He also visited the south lake zone project where various citizen amenities activities are being planned like park for children, cycling & walking track. He directed officials for development of proper parking place at front side.
Finally, he visited the National Level Painting Camp & State level sculptures’ camp at Kala bhoomi under STAMP 3.0 initiative undertaken by Odisha LalitKala Academy & BMC – a platform where Odisha’s art & culture will be showcased to all visiting Bbsr during #HWC2023
