Madhya Pradesh CM plants coconut sapling

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a coconut plant in the Chief Minister’s residence premises today. Coconut is considered auspicious and propitious in Indian civilization. Therefore it is used in worship rituals and auspicious works. Coconut is a sign of good luck and prosperity.

Coconut is called ‘Shriphal’ in Sanskrit and Shri means Lakshmi. Coconut tree is also called ‘Kalpavriksha’ in Sanskrit. Coconut water contains a good amount of electrolytes, which remove fatigue and weakness. One coconut contains about 600 mg of potassium.
