Madhya Pradesh CM extends greetings on Global Tiger Day

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has congratulated the people of the state and the forest officers and employees who are dedicatedly working for conservation and protection of tiger on the occasion of Global Tiger Day. He said that due to the efforts of the forest employees, the tiger got a favourable environment in the state, due to which the number of tigers increased continuously. He said that the team engaged in this work should work with the determination that they will save the tiger and also increase its number.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it should be our endeavour that along with material progress, we should maintain a balance with the environment so that the environment and the tigers also remain safe in the forest. Along with the tigers, other wild animals can also roam freely.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the dense forests of Panna and Satpura are very safe for the Tiger Reserve. With special efforts, there has been a steady increase in the number of tigers in these forests. He said that without wildlife the life cycle of man is not complete.
