Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan while remembering Shri Kailash Joshi payed his tributes on his birth anniversary here today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan garlanded the portrait of Shri Kailash Joshi at his residence.
Shri Kailash Joshi was born on 14 July 1929 in Hatpipliya Dewas. He was the Chief Minister of the state in 1977-78. Shri Kailash Joshi was the first non-Congress Chief Minister of the state.
Shri Joshi was famous as a saint in the politics of the state. He was an MLA for eight times, Lok Sabha member twice and Rajya Sabha member once. Shri Kailash Joshi represented from Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency.
