Kaniha: Ladies Welfare Wing “Tanvi Sangam” of NTPC Talcher Kaniha celebrated its 30th Annual Day on 22.04.2018. The event is being organised every year to commemorate the formation of “Tanvi Sangam” for employee’s wives and ladies.The club started its journey long back in 1987. Since then the club has grown from strength to strength and has been doing commendable service in the fields of welfare and CSR.
Smt Deepti Kuber,President, , Tanvi Sangam during her welcome address, welcomed the Chief Guest Shri Ram Kuber ,Executive Director,Talcher Kaniha ,Senior officials ,Executive committee members & members of the club. During her address she said”the club is getting the support from senior management for execution of various welfare activities and it is trying its best to deliver the best to meet the expectations”
Addressing the august audience, Executive Director, Shri Ram Kuber appreciated the group efforts of club members in doing commendable work in the field of promoting education by running nursery school, running Bal Bhavan for promoting extra-curricular activities like singing, dancing & computer education of children & it also rendering its support in providing free education to the needy through its literacy centre. He said that “Tanvi Sangam is the integral part of the NTPC Kaniha which has been engaged in various social welfare & CSR activities.
On this occasion Smt Sangamitra Das, General Secretary,Tanvi Sangam read the annual report which highlighted the important activities of the club conducted during year 2017-18.Winners of various competitions organised by Tanvi Sangam were awarded during the program by Executive Director , senior officials Shri N Acharya ,GM(Maintenance) ,Shri Ramesh Sinha GM(Operations),Shri Anil Jana & Shri N S Rao,GM(TS).
Shri K S Sarma,AGM(HR) & members of the Tanvi Sangam ,employees and their family members in large numbers were present on the occasion.
