The death toll in the Jharsuguda boat mishap has climbed to two, with seven individuals still unaccounted for. Odisha Chief Minister has declared an ex gratia of Rs 4 lakhs for the families of the deceased. In the tragic incident, a boat carrying nearly 50 passengers capsized in the Mahanadi River near Sarada under Lakhanpur block. As of now, six persons remain missing.
