INS Kolkata, After Detaining 35 Pirates off Somalia Coast, Arrives in Mumbai; Pirates Transferred to Mumbai Police Custody

The Indian Navy announced that warship INS Kolkata, which detained 35 pirates in an operation off the coast of Somalia, arrived in Mumbai on Saturday morning. The captured pirates were subsequently transferred to the custody of Mumbai police. This operation was conducted as part of Operation Sankalp, a mission aimed at ensuring the safety of seafarers and merchant trade in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden.
