India unanimously elected to head UN-Habitat, the United Nations’ Human Settlements Programme

New Delhi: India has been unanimously chosen as the President of the UN-Habitat, an body of the United Nations’ Organization (UNO) that advances socially and naturally supportable human settlements over the world, following 10 years. UN-Habitat reports to the United Nations General Assembly.
