India Reaches 90 GW of Installed Solar Capacity, Aims for 500 GW by 2030

India has achieved 90 gigawatts of installed solar capacity as part of its goal to reach 500 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The government has also approved the establishment of 50 solar parks with a total renewable capacity of 37.5 gigawatts, according to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi during the 7th session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
