Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur : Independence Day was celebrated at Paradip Refinery. G.S.Singh, Executive Director, Paradip Refinery unfurled the National Flag at Paradip Refinery Sports Complex. Executive Director Mr G.S.Singh inspected the parade comprising of CISF, CISF Fire Wing, DGR Security and Delhi Public School students. Executive Director addressed the large gathering. He paid homage to freedom fighters and the founding fathers of our Nation. Mr G.S.Singh, ED thanked all employees and their family members, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and their teams, CISF, the local communities and nearby villagers for their whole hearted support for commissioning of Paradeep refinery.
On this occasion, 91 students from nearby schools and colleges from Panchayats as Paradipgarh, Fatepur, Dhinkia, Kothi, Gandakipur, Biswali, Bagadia and Mangarajpur) were presented with Meritorious Award by Executive director .
CISF contingent of Paradip Refinery presented a demonstration on weapons drill, modern security procedures and practices followed by a Cultural progarmme.
