Kaliapani: Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) has installed two nos of Mist Cannons sukinda and mahagiri mines to curb pollution. The operation of Mist cannon was inugurated by Sri Sanjeev Das, Sr Vice president & Head Mining Business Unit in presence of of Sri Sudhanshu Patni, Senior GM and other employees. Sri Das said. “Spraying the fine mist helps to minimize the dust, reduces the health risk and improve air quality in the mines working areas like dispatch yards and ore processing area. During the operation it needs minimum of power and water supply. This is a new innovation in the Sukinda Chromite Valley”.
The Installation of two numbers of Mist Cannon in their Sukinda & Mahagiri Mines (Chromite) is well appreciated by all the employees and general public residing in around the mining area. IMFA has adopted modern technology to safeguard to employees’ health and safety.
