The Southwest Monsoon has arrived early in Kerala and is advancing into North-East India, the IMD reported. This early onset, attributed to Cyclone Remal, means Kerala is expected to receive above-normal rainfall. The heatwave across India, with Odisha’s Titilagarh reaching 46°C, is expected to ease with the monsoon.
