Heat wave conditions to continue in Odisha for the next three to four days

Bhubaneswar: The heat wave conditions would continue in the State for the next three to four days. Due to the prevailing dry northwesterly winds, heat wave conditions are very likely to continue in several parts of the State with their peak intensity on May 25 and 26, said Regional Meteorological Centre head Rajendra Kumar Jenamani.

Due to strong southerly wind from the Bay of Bengal to northeast India at lower tropospheric levels, heavy to very heavy rainfalls with extremely heavy falls are likely at isolated places over parts of northeastern States and heavy to very heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places over adjoining parts of the eastern region of the country till May 28, he said.
