GS Caltex India initiated PUC camps and extensive tree plantation drive on World Environment Day

Mumbai: GS Caltex India celebrated World Environment Day by offering free pollution check camps to customers across India. Among other things, distribution of plant saplings, customer education meets were conducted to promote awareness about clean environment. As part of its commitment to environment safety and ecology conservation, GS Caltex India aims to spread awareness on environment protection, sustenance and eco-conscious growth for a sustainable future. World Environment Day (WED) is commemorated every year on 5th June in a bid to raise global awareness to take positive environmental actions to protect the ecology and the planet Earth.
These Free Pollution check-up (PUC) camps offered to the customers ensured that the company is not only taking on responsibility in maintaining their vehicles, but also strictly adhering to environmentally sustainable practices adopted by the company. The customers were provided with PUC certificates and educated on fuel saving techniques.
