Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that top priority should be given to reduce the rate of Covid infection in the state. Efforts required for this should be strictly implemented. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was organized a video conference from his residence with ministers and officials in charge of Covid control of all the districts.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Janata curfew should be strictly followed. Micro containment areas should be made where infection is more prevalent so that the spread of infection can be controlled. A comprehensive survey should be carried out to identify the patients and to make the system of distribution of medicine effective and to prevent unnecessary traffic. This can control infection rate. By reducing infection rate, better facilities can be provided to infected patients.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked all the ministers in-charge to regularly review the arrangements of Home Isolation and Covid Care Centers personally. He said that oxygen audit should be conducted by the officers-in-charge of the concerned districts to ensure proper use of oxygen in a scientific manner. This will reduce unnecessary consumption of oxygen and increase its availability for the needy. He emphasized on the rational use of oxygen and directed to implement the stepdown system effectively. He said that patients should be provided high flow if needed. When there is improvement and low flow is required, the flow should be stepped down from high to low. As the condition improves, oxygen consumption may be reduced by stepping it down to normal.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that activities which aid spread of infection should be strictly prohibited to save the lives of the people. He said that no more than 10 persons should be allowed in marriage-wedding programs because people tend to remain together for a longer time and the chances of spreading the infection increases rapidly. He called upon the ministers in charge to send positive voice messages to those under Home Isolation and to arrange telephonic discussions with Corona winners. He said that the family members should not accompany the patient in large numbers. It should be strictly ensured not to allow family members to remain in the Covid ward. Arrangements should be made to ensure that family members sit a little away from the hospital and discuss with patients on mobile phones.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Kill Corona Campaign-2 should be conducted effectively. A house-to-house survey should be conducted to find out cases of cold and cough. On identifying a case, arrangements for medicines and home isolation should be made without waiting for the test report. It should be ensured that the infected person is brought to the Covid Care Center in the absence of proper arrangement for home isolation. He instructed to set up quarantine centers in each gram panchayat in rural areas. Effective basic arrangements should be made at the center. The burden of careful will be borne by the government. The system of testing persons coming from outside and keeping them in quarantine centers must be strictly followed.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has given instructions to take strict action against black marketeers. He told to take strict action against such people under National Security Act. He said that continuous efforts were being made to increase the supply of Remdesivir injection. Every possible task and high level intensive monitoring is also being done to procure maximum amount of oxygen. Fair distribution of the oxygen acquired has been ensured. He said that short-term efforts to control infection will reduce the rate of infection. Vaccination is the only permanent solution. Therefore, effective arrangement of vaccination should be ensured. He said that there are problems and challenges, but through public support and tireless hard work, we will definitely succeed in defeating Corona.
