“Efforts are continuing on a war-footing to supply oxygen in the state”- Minister Arvind Singh Bhadoria

Bhopal: Cooperative and Public Service Management Minister Shri Arvind Singh Bhadoria said that the State Government is making arrangements for corona control and treatment of patients on priority. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure the timely availability of oxygen to critical patients. The state government has made efforts to supply oxygen in the state by contacting the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. He directed the officials concerned to ensure proper treatment of corona patients.

Minister Shri Bhadoria today was reviewing with senior officials in the office of Oxygen Control set up for covid-19 in the building of Public Health Services Corporation Limited. Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources Shri S.N. Mishra, Controller Food and Drug Administration Shri P. Narhari, Director Technical Education and Skills ShriP. Dhanraju and Commissioner-cum-Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ShriVivek Porwal were present.

In the meeting, Madhya Pradesh was reviewed the availability of oxygen from other states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and the availability of oxygen and its transport systems. Minister Shri Arvind Singh Bhadauria said that efforts are being made to resolve the problem in the concerned states at the earliest. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan himself is constantly making efforts in this direction. He informed that the local administration is working with public representatives to make better arrangements for the treatment of corona and supply of necessary resources in the entire state so that patients can be provided appropriate treatment.

Minister Shri Bhadoria told that efforts are being made to resolve the practical problems soon after discussing with the Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister ShriDharmendra Pradhan and Union Railway Minister ShriPiyush Goyal for arranging and transporting the gas tanker. Definitely, positive results will come out soon. Food and Drug Control Administration ShriP. Narhari informed that a portal has been created by the department, on which updated information is being provided every hour. Also, the control room is also working 24 hours.
