Bhubaneswar: Death toll due to Cyclone Fani rises to 7; while 3 persons were killed in Jajpur district, one death recorded in Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Puri, and Keonjhar districts each.
As per telephonic information, in Puri, extensive damage to kuchha houses, old buildings & temporary shops. No confirmed report of deaths, but over 200 reportedly injured. Power & telecom completely down. NDRF & ODRAF, State forces are clearing roads .
