Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says “Ceaseless efforts being made to prevent and treat corona”

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the people of the state should fulfill their responsibility to curb spread of corona infection. The state government is making every effort to make all the arrangements at its level. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to the media to cooperate in controlling the panic situation due to Corona infection. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was discussing with media representatives after planting sapling in Smart Garden.

Hospital-like arrangements will be developed in large government buildings

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in view of the increasing infection of Corona, the number of beds is being increased in all the major cities of the state. The target is to have a total of one lakh beds. Cooperation of private hospitals is also being sought. Free treatment is also being provided in these hospitals. Besides, there are also plans to develop hospital-like system in large government buildings. For this, we are also making proposal to the private sector.

No shortage of oxygen

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there is no shortage of oxygen in the state. The Government of India has agreed to supply oxygen from Bhilai Steel Plant. Along with this, deliberations have been held with the Union Minister for Railways, Industry and Commerce, Shri Piyush Goyal. Assurance has also been received from their side that there will be no shortage of oxygen.

Special campaign for vaccination

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that a special campaign will be launched for vaccination of all persons above the age group of 45 years from April 11, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule to April 14, the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Special efforts are being made in the campaign for vaccination in rural areas.

“Kill Corona-2” campaign in rural area

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that in view of Corona infection, “Kill Corona-2” campaign is being carried out in rural areas. Under this, after surveying the villages, the Corona affected people will be identified and arrangements for their appropriate test and treatment will be made.

It is necessary to wear mask and maintain safe distance

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has appealed to the people of the state to fulfill their responsibility for protection from Corona. The scientific conclusion is that Corona can be avoided by using masks and maintaining a safe distance. In the present times, staying healthy is the greatest human service. Follow self-discipline such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, not creating unnecessary crowds.

Corona Volunteers will be assigned responsibility

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Corona Volunteers associated for cooperating with the state government will be entrusted with the responsibility as per the requirement in the campaign against Corona infection.
