Ahead of the Rath Yatra scheduled for July 7, the Chaka Bije ritual of Lord Jagannath is being conducted today. The deities had been suffering from fever and were treated with phuluri oil, gradually improving. Further medicinal treatments will commence today, administered by the Shudhashuas. The annual Rath Yatra marks the culmination of these preparations at Puri Jagannath Temple.
