Bhubaneswar: Bahrain Odia Samaj (BOS) celebrated International Yoga Day by conducting a Yoga Awareness virtual camp. Renowned Yoga Therapist from Odisha, Ms. Saritanjali Nayak conducted the camp through video conferencing. Elaborating the benefits of Yoga, Ms. Nayak demonstrated several Yoga Asanas and breathing exercises. Attainment of harmony between mind and body through the subtle science of Yoga, pave the way for arousing Individual as well as Universal Consciousness for the ultimate benefit of mankind, She narrated.
The main focus of the webinar was the central Theme of 7th International Yoga Day celebration; “Yoga for wellness, Be with Yoga and Be at Home.” In the backdrop of Global concerns for covid Pandemic, the participants stressed on the relevance of Yoga to tackle the current crisis. Yoga has the huge potentialities to infuse positivity in the mind and body of human beings eradicating negativism they observed.
Hosted under the stewardship of BOS President Dinesh Mohanty, The Digital Platform was well managed by the ladies members of BOS. Some of the prominent members of the Bahrain Odia Samaj also performed yogasanas during the occasion. The session proved to be immensely beneficial for the members of BOS and their families. The entire programme was successfully organised and efficiently co – ordinated by BOS members Bidush Nanda, Sushmita Rout, Jayadeep Jena, Anita Sangram Ramsingh and Sushant Panda.
