Bhubaneswar: Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India recommenced flight operations Hyderabad – Hubballi – Hyderabad with direct flights from 31st March 2021. The flight was inaugurated by Shri.Pralhad Joshi, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs along with Mrs.Harpreet A De Singh, CEO Alliance Air at the inaugural function at Hubballi in presence of many dignitaries.
This is an RCS flight under UDAN scheme initiative by government of India. The flight is scheduled to operate on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
The airline has deployed its 70 seater ATR 72 600 on this sector.
9I 879 will depart from Hyderabad at 0625hrs and arrive in Hubli at 0800hrs.
9I 880 will depart from Hubli at 0825hrs and arrive in Hyderabad at 0955hrs.
Hubli is also known as ‘Chota Mumbai’ because of being commercially strong focal point for business in Karnataka. Crops like cotton & peanuts are grown aplenty here lending the name Hubli meaning ‘flowering creeper’ in Kannada to the city.
