Jajpur: During his Jajpur visit, CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated development projects worth ₹109 Cr and Utkal University New Campus (Rural) at Chandikhol. He also laid foundation stone to strengthen connectivity, river embankment & power distribution projects worth ₹43.49 Cr.
The rural campus of the Utkal University which is also called as the second campus will be set up at a budget of Rs 25 cr on a land area of 66.3-acre for which all modalities have been finished. The land for the new campus has been allocated near Bhairabananda College.
In the initial phase, two courses namely post-graduation in Public Health and MBA in Rural Management will be provided at the rural campus for which classes will commence from this academic session
