Young Business Leaders visit JSPL’s Mega Steel plant at Angul in Odisha

Angul: A delegation of Young President’s Organisation (YPO) visited Odisha’s largest steel plant set up by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL) at Angul on April 21st 2018.

The delegation consisting of young business leaders of 25 leading companies of India visited JSPL’s state of the art mega steel making facility, township and got an overview of the Sustainable Social Development Initiatives being implemented by the JSPL Foundation under the Corporate Social Responsibility programme of the company. JSPL’s Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal and Director Smt. Shallu Jindal who is also the Co-Chaiperson of the JSPL Foundation guided the visiting delegation.

The Young Business Leaders’ team appreciated the mega Steel Plant’s technology and products. They also praised JSPL for its innovative community development initiatives and visited the Temple in the DevaBhoomi inside the JSPL township. The Sublime Temple of which Sri Jagannatha Deva is the Presiding deity , has been constructed over a land of 4 acres inside JSPL’s Township.

The Young Presidents’ Organization is a global network of Young Chief Executives from more than 130 countries. Leaders who have become President or Chairman or Chief Executive Officer of a Company complying to other eligibility criteria can become member of this global organisation.

The visiting delegation constituted the Members from Companies like Morphogenes, DSS Enterprises, Flowmore, BIOTIQUE, MGF Infratech, Gopal Group of Industries, U.P. Twiga Fiberglass, PASCO GROUP, TINNA TRADE, BHILWARA ENERGY, Rajasthan Patrika, Mountain Valley Springs India, STERLING PUBLISHERS, Hi-Tech Gears, Khemka Group, Shiv-Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services, Tudiokon Ventures, India Forge, Luxor Writing Instruments, Ansal Properties & Infrastructure and Bharat Light & Power.
