5-judge Supreme Court bench delivers #AyodhyaVerdict

New Delhi: 5-judge Supreme Court bench pronounces judgment on  Ayodhya. The Supreme Court has unanimously barred the claim of Nirmohi Akhara, says it is not a “shabait.” In a unanimous decision, Shia petition has been dismissed.

Ram Janma Bhoomi not a juristic person, holds Supreme Court. Suit 3 filed by Nirmohi Akhara is governed by Article 120 of Limitation Act and is barred by limitation, Supreme Court.

ASI report can’t be dismissed as conjecture or just a guess work, says SC in Ayodhya Judgment. This court must accept faith and belief of worshippers. Secularism is a basic feature of the Constitution says Supreme Court. CJI Ranjan Gogoi says judgment in Ayodhya land dispute case is unanimous.

Hindus consider Ayodhya as the birthplace of Lord Ram. Faith and belief of Hindus that Lord Ram was born under the inner dome. The faith of Hindus is undisputed that Lord Ram was born in Ayodhya. Faith is a matter of an individual believer. Once the Court has the material that the faith is genuine, the Court must not interfere and acknowledge it. Value of a secular Constitution lies in mutual deference.

The 5-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi includes Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
