New Delhi: Former PM HD Deve Gowda, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, former Union Ministers Yashwant Sinha&Arun Shourie, CPI leader D Raja, CPI-M’s Sitaram Yechury & RJD MP Manoj Jha issue a joint statement for immediate release of three former Jammu & Kashmir CMs.
Statement reads, “We demand the immediate release of all political detainees in Kashmir, especially the three former Chief Ministers of J&K (Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah & Mehbooba Mufti). Under Modi govt, democratic dissent is being muzzled by coercive administrative action”.
