Bhubaneswar: Health & Family welfare dept to issue guidelines for private hospitals, clinics & doctors in view of Coronavirus Outbreak, informs Odisha COVID19 spokesperson Subroto Bagchi adding the 3rd positive case from Odisha also visited Odisha Assembly dispensary apart from Kar Clinic.

Odisha govt spokesperson Subroto Bagchi details on 3rd Covid-19 positive case. He informed that Contact tracing is underway, the patient’s wife, daughter, driver kept in isolation.

A revised guideline will be issued by Health department soon; after 3rd Coronavirus positive case in Odisha, we see a possibility of getting into the 3rd stage of community transmission in the State, says Odisha govt spokesperson Subroto Bagchi.

Bagchi said that the man travelled to Delhi and Rewari in Haryana between March 7 and 10 with his family. Later, the family had travelled in Indigo flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar on March 10.

While he showcased symptoms on March 13 and had consulted in Odisha Assembly dispensary and later visited Kar Clinic on March 21, he was kept in the ICU of the hospital on March 23. Later, he was shifted to the isolation facility of a government-run hospital in the state capital. The patient’s wife, daughter, driver are also kept in isolation.
