Bhubaneswar: Odisha Govt to set up Martyrs’ Memorial Pillar at Barunei. Sahid Smruti Stamba (Martyrs’ Memorial Pillar) will be set up at a cost of Rs 22 crore at Barunei Pitha in Khurda in memory of Paikas. This was annonuced by the Odisha Culture Minister Ashok Panda during bicentenary celebration of Paika Rebellion in Khurda.
