Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to flag off Bharat Yatra in Bhubaneswar organized by Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation on 26 September.

CM Naveen Patnaik and Nobel Peace Laureate Sh. Kailash Satyarthi will flag off Bharat Yatra in Bhubaneswar at Janta Maidan in afternoon. It should be noted that Nobel Peace Laureate Sh. Kailash Satyarthi launched Bharat Yatra a nationwide march against child sexual abuse and trafficking covering 11, 000KM in 35days across 22 states.

Nobel Peace Laureate, Kailash Satyarthi today launched the Bharat Yatraagainst child trafficking and sexual abuse from the Vivekananda Rock Memorial here. He appealed to the youth to join the march to ensure the safety and security of the children, who are the future of India.

The Yatra flagged off from Kanyakumari on September 13 and will culminate in New Delhi on the 16th of October covering 11000 kilometres across 22 States.

Kailash Satyarthi has been campaigning for the freedom, safety and security for children across the globe for the past 36 years. His Nobel Peace Prize (2014) was for his continuous efforts and struggle for the rights children.
The Bharat Yatra conceptualised on the theme of SurakshitBachpan- Surakshit Bharat (Safe Childhood- Safe India) is the movement of the 21st century which will combat the evils of all forms of violence against children.
