Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced essential relief measures for #CycloneFani affected people in the state with emphasis on farmers & women SHGs. Agriculture input subsidy of ₹6800/ha in non-irrigated areas, ₹13,500/ha in irrigated areas & ₹18,000/ha for all perennial crops announced.
Incentives & assistance announced for farmers engaged in banana, mushroom, betel vine & fish farming. Additional seed money of ₹10,000 and Community Investment Fund of ₹1 lakh each to be provided to affected women SHGs.
Cattle rearers to receive Rs 30,000/dead milking cow/buffalo, Rs 25,000 for bullock and Rs 3,000 for goat; farmers/SHG members will be provided Rs 50,000 for rebuilding cowshed; fish farmers to get Rs 12,200/hectare & SHG units will receive Rs 10,000 extra seed money says Odisha CM Naveen Patanik.
