Odisha Chief Secretary presided over the State level coordination meeting on Kenduleaf operation

Bhubaneswar:  Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy presided over the State level coordination meeting on Kenduleaf operation in the State and directed to do more bush cutting in convergence with MGNREGS to yield more production and procurement. It was known from the meeting that beating the adverse weather condition in February and March along with Covid Lockdown and Shutdown the operations are set to generate a Trade Surplus of Rs. 100 Crore during the current year.

Development Commissioner Sri Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest and Environment, Dr. Mona Sharma, Principal Secretary, Finance, Sri Ashok Kumar Meena, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Sri Sandeep Tripathy, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Kenduleaf) Sri Pravakar Behera along with senior officers of concerned Departments participated in the discussion.
