some sitting MLAs have also been asked to vacate the quarters which will be demolished for a proposed multi-storey building for legislators. After vacating the government quarters, these legislators will be rehabilitated in other places. The construction of the multi-storey building will begin from next month, it was learned.
On September 16, the OLA Speaker had directed the former MLAs to vacate their quarters as soon as possible. However, a month have passed but the former legislators are yet to vacate the quarters. Following this, the sitting MLAs are not being able to get their accommodations.
