Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik while addressing election campaigning in Sarala road under Tirtol assembly constituency on Thursday assured that KALIA much coveted farmers friendly scheme of Odisha would be continue till he is alive and promised gathering party sympathizers that pending financial assistance of the two installments would be given soon after he assumes office.
Patnaik also spoke on the success stories of his government during his last 19 years tenure and criticized successive union governments neglecting Odisha. Patnaik also took on BJP led union government its negligence towards Odisha during the period of natural calamities. During floods, drought and various natural calamities as Phaillin, Hudhud and Titili nobody from BJP from center visited Odisha, now they are thronging Odisha seeking votes in the eve of simultaneous polls, Patnaik claimed.
Criticizing BJP, Patnaik termed as saffron party has been indulging Gundaraj in state, he would not allow any body doing harm for Odisha. Patnaik once again termed as people of Odisha as his family, I am always with you and will be with you till my last breath, he called an emotional appeal.
The meeting was significance that after two weeks break Bishnu Das MLA candidate of BJD in Tirtol assembly seat appeared in public sphere as he was ailing soon after his filing of nominations. Bishnu too had extended rousing welcome in Tirtol after his first appearance in constituency, in his brief speech Bishnu appealed Tirtol voters to cast votes in favour of BJD. Among others MP candidate Rajashree Mallick, Bhupindra singh, Devasis Samantray, BJD district president Amarendra Das were spoke on the campaigning.
